Bluetooth authentication program

    Certification procedure

The Bluetooth Qualification Program refers to the process by which a member company certifies its specific Bluetooth wireless design. A particular Bluetooth design refers to a specific part of the product that is determined by the execution of the Declaration of Conformity (ICS) and conforms to the Bluetooth specification. The design of a qualified Bluetooth wireless technology should be verified by a product that implements this design to meet all Bluetooth qualification requirements.

Bluetooth qualification should refer to the version of the specific Bluetooth technical specification and all Bluetooth qualification requirements for this version.

    Certification requirements

Bluetooth qualification requirements include the following:

    • test

    • Document production

    • File submission

    • Evaluation review

    • Supplier conformance statement

    • Compliance with audit and enforcement procedures

The Bluetooth SIG will charge a management fee (called a "declaration fee") to complete the process, including the operating costs of the compliance program and the cost of providing other important member tools.

The cost of each statement for the founding members and alliance members is $4,000, and the cost per statement for the application members is $8,000. Note: If multiple products are using the same Qualified Bluetooth design member, multiple products may be listed under one statement. In addition, if a premium small or entrepreneurial member company meets the requirements of the Incentive Incentive Program (IIP), you can purchase up to two statements for each $2,500 price.
