Energy efficiency rating
The Energy Efficiency Index is a grading method that expresses the difference in energy efficiency of household appliances. According to the relevant provisions of national standards, China's energy efficiency label is currently divided into five grades.
Energy efficiency standards and energy efficiency labeling have proven to be the most cost-effective ways to reduce energy consumption, while at the same time providing significant environmental benefits and positive returns for consumers.
Level 1 indicates that the product has reached the international advanced level and the energy consumption is the lowest; the level 2 indicates that the product is more energy-saving; the level 3 indicates that the product energy efficiency is the average level of the Chinese market; the level 4 indicates that the product energy efficiency is lower than the market average; 5 is the product market access indicator, and products below this level are not allowed to be produced and sold.
The A+ grade has an energy efficiency index of 30% to 42%, that is, the measured power consumption under standard conditions is equivalent to 30% to 42% of the rated power consumption.
China's air conditioning, refrigerator energy efficiency rating is divided into five.
More than 100 countries have implemented energy efficiency labeling systems. The color logo for the blue and white background is divided into 5 levels of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and the level 1 indicates that the product has reached the international advanced level, the most power saving, that is, the lowest energy consumption; the level 2 indicates the comparison of power saving; 3 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is the average level of the Chinese market; level 4 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is lower than the market average; level 5 is the market access indicator, and products below the level are not allowed to be produced and sold. The energy efficiency label is a sticky label on the back, and the color label on the top marked "CHINA ENERGY LABEL" is usually attached to the front panel of the product. The information content of the energy efficiency label of the refrigerator includes the producer, model, energy efficiency level, 24-hour power consumption, volume of each room, and the national standard number. Information on air conditioning energy efficiency labeling includes: producer, model, energy efficiency rating, energy efficiency ratio, input power, cooling capacity, and national standard number.
Different levels are represented by different colors and lengths. The shortest is dark green, which stands for “the direction of energy saving in the next four years”, which is the international advanced level, followed by green, yellow, orange and red. The grade indicator color scale is arranged according to the emotion represented by the color, in which red represents prohibition, orange and yellow represent warnings, and green represents environmental protection and energy conservation.
National regulations
As the first step in the construction of China's energy efficiency labeling system, the energy efficiency labeling system for household refrigerators and room air conditioners was officially implemented on March 1, 2005. According to the first batch of energy efficiency labeling product catalogues and related requirements, since March 1, 2005, all domestic air conditioners and refrigerators produced, sold, and imported in China must be labeled with the “China Energy Efficiency Label”. All products without labels are not allowed. IPO.
Later practice proved that the energy efficiency labeling system can promote the improvement of product energy efficiency and the progress of energy-saving technology, promote the conversion of energy-using product market to high-efficiency market, and play an important role in regulating the energy-using product market, saving energy and protecting the environment. Based on the severe energy situation and significant implementation results, the in-depth promotion of the energy efficiency labeling system is imperative. On September 18, 2006, electric washing machines and unit air conditioners were also included in the energy efficiency labeling product catalog.
From March 1, 2008, household washing machines and small central air conditioners will not be allowed to enter the market. In order to implement the "Decision of the State Council on Strengthening Energy Conservation Work", the National Development and Reform Commission, the AQSIQ and the National Certification and Accreditation Administration formulated and issued the "Energy Efficiency Labeling of the People's Republic of China" in accordance with the "Measures for the Administration of Energy Efficiency Labeling". Product Catalog (Second Batch), "Electric Washing Machine Energy Efficiency Labeling Implementation Rules" and "Unit Air Conditioner Energy Efficiency Labeling Implementation Rules" (Announcement No. 65 of 2006), from March 1, 2008 to electric The two products, the washing machine and the unit air conditioner, began to implement an energy efficiency labeling system.
