Korea KCC certification
What is Korean KCC certification
KCC: Korea Communication Commission, Korea Communications Commission
According to Article 33 of the Basic Law on Electrical Communication of Korea and Articles 46 and 57 of the Radio Wave Act, a broadcasting communication equipment certification system has been established, which requires all production, import or sale of broadcasting communication equipment certification regulations. Products specified in Article 3 shall be subject to KCC certification in advance.
The KCC logo was evolved from the MIC logo. As the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) replaced the former Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC), the certification name was changed accordingly. KCC entered into force on November 11, 2008 and will be re-evolved into the KC mark on January 1, 2011.
KCC addresses the electromagnetic compatibility requirements of information products and regulates wireless transmission and communication product certification, including electrical communication equipment, radio frequency products, and information technology equipment.
The KCC logo is a certification mark issued by the Korea Radio Research Agency (RRA).
